The 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 in the McLaren 570S could use more voice. Valvetronic Designs built a complete 3.0 inch system for the 570S, the 540C and the 620R, from the V-bands at the turbos to the exhaust tips, aimed at free flow, sharper response and a motorsport sound.
Sound and control
- With the optional free flow downpipes: maximum volume and character, plus flames with a good tune.
How it sounds
Performance and construction
- Mandrel bent 3.0 inch tubing for maximum flow and response
- X-pipe architecture that brings the pulses from both banks together, lowers backpressure and refines the tone
- Available in Grade 5 titanium
Fitment and homologation
The system fits the McLaren 570S and the 540C from 2015 to 2021. The 620R from 2018 to 2022 fits as well.
