The GLE 63 has the M177 twin-turbo V8, an engine held back above all by the catalytic converters right behind the turbos. These race downpipes remove those catalytic converters. Backpressure drops, the turbos build boost faster and the V8 sounds heavier, with clearly more sound on downshifts.
Performance and construction
- Catless design with the lowest possible backpressure
- Mandrel bent piping for an even gas speed
- Hand-laid TIG welds, resistant to high exhaust temperatures and high boost
- Sensors in the original positions
Fitment and homologation
Fits the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 and GLE 63 S with chassis code W166 and W167. These downpipes remove the catalytic converters. They are intended for track use only and do not meet the emissions requirements for the public road, which means they are not road legal.

Installation
