That improves scavenging and delivers the high overtones that belong to an exhaust in Formula 1 style.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSound and control\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe valves work through separate bypass sections that leave the high, exotic character of the Carrera GT intact, instead of routing the gas flow through heavily muffled bypass paths that take away exactly the best frequencies. Muffling was never the goal. With the valves open the system sounds like a V10 from Formula 1. With the valves closed the level is low enough for an early start, the city or a long touring drive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe carbon monocoque lets a lot of road, tire and wind noise through into the interior.
