Porsche 911 Turbo 991.1/991.2 Race Exhaust System

Valvetronic Designs takes on the sound of the 991 Turbo at the source. In the version with race free flow headers that starts at the headers themselves, drawn in CAD and tested with CFD, which sharpens the pulse timing and lifts the tone. The base of the system is a titanium rear section with valves, and it delivers two characters on demand: raw and unprocessed when you want that, and refined and comfortable when you need it.

Sound and control

• Valves open: after the turbos the gases travel about 13 inch to the outside, which produces a sharp Porsche wail with hard shift pops
• Valves closed: the flow goes through two mufflers with four chambers, which brings the volume down considerably
• The central X-pipe flattens the pulse interaction, takes out drone and gives a higher character across the whole rev range

• Headers with CFD-validated runner geometry for more pulse energy and better response, available as a separate version of the system
• Grade 5 titanium, strong at low weight and well able to handle heat
• Vacuum valves for direct control of volume and character
• TIG welding, finished by hand
• 4.3 kg lighter than the factory system
• Can always be returned to stock
• Tips in finishes that match the rear end of the 991 Turbo

Fitment and homologation

This system fits the Porsche 911 Turbo and the 911 Turbo S with chassis code 991, both the 991.1 and the 991.2, with model years 2014 through 2019. The system is a direct fit.
