Ferrari F430 Scuderia / 16M valved exhaust systems

For the Ferrari F430 Scuderia and the Scuderia 16M we supply the valved catback with X-pipe, on its own or with race free flow front pipes and headers, and replacement headers in a dedicated Scuderia version. Everything ships directly from the Valvetronic Designs factory in Boyertown, Pennsylvania.

Catback with X-pipe

From the factory the valved rear section of the Scuderia and 16M has no crossover, so the high F1-style overtones are missing. This system adds an X-pipe. With the valves closed a top-mounted muffler tames the volume, enough for relaxed driving and an early start. Open, a sharp, high-pitched scream comes out, and the pitch is the big difference from stock. The system is made of T304 stainless steel with a gold titanium coating, the downpipes have an Inconel heat shield, and the whole saves 6.7 kg compared with stock.

Versions

You choose the catback only, the catback with race free flow front pipes, or the catback with race free flow front pipes and headers. The valves are controlled through the factory controls, so the button on the centre console keeps doing what it did. You can always return to the factory setup.

Headers

The original headers of the F430 Scuderia are a known weak point: they crack and lose performance over the years. The Valvetronic headers replace them, with precisely designed runners for less back pressure, sharper throttle response and a fuller tone. There is a dedicated version for the Scuderia and 16M. Installation belongs with a workshop experienced in header work on a Ferrari.
