For the Lamborghini Aventador LP700, Aventador S and Aventador SV with the 6.5-litre V12 we supply the valved cat-back, on its own or with free flow race front pipes, and the equal-length free flow front pipes as a separate part. Everything ships directly from the Valvetronic Designs factory in Boyertown, Pennsylvania.

Valved cat-back

The rear section with vacuum valves shifts the V12 sound towards a high, screaming tone reminiscent of the LP640 Murciélago. With the valves open you get a high F1-style shriek with sharp shift cracks, closed it is restrained and close to stock in character. The system is 12.3 kg lighter than the factory system, uses the car's original exhaust outlets and can always be returned to stock. You choose between gold anodised T304 stainless steel and Grade 5 titanium. For the Aventador S only gold anodised T304 stainless steel is available.

Equal-length front pipes

From the factory the front pipes differ by about 5 inches in length, which makes the tone uneven and muted. The equal-length free flow front pipes bring the exhaust pulses back in phase for a higher, cleaner tone. A heat shield protects the wiring harnesses in the engine bay. You order them as an option with the cat-back or as a separate part. There is a separate version for the SVJ, so choose the correct model when ordering.

Installation

The cat-back system is a direct fit, but due to the complexity of the design we strongly recommend installation by a specialist. Each product lists its exact fitment. These products have no EC or ECE type approval.

Frequently asked questions

Which versions are available for the Aventador S?
For the Aventador S the cat-back is available only in gold anodised T304 stainless steel, with or without free flow race front pipes. For the LP700 and SV you can also choose Grade 5 titanium.
How do I control the valves?
The system uses vacuum valves with OEM-like behaviour. The valve controller and wiring harness are included.
Can I go back to stock later?
Yes. The system uses the original exhaust outlets and can always be returned to stock.
What comes with the separate front pipes?
Only the equal-length free flow front pipes. The valved rear section is not included and is ordered separately.
