For the McLaren Artura with its twin-turbo V6 and electric motor we supply the titanium race exhaust system, as the rear section only or with free flow race pipes, and free flow downpipes. Everything ships directly from the Valvetronic Designs factory in Boyertown, Pennsylvania.

Race exhaust system

The system is made entirely of Grade 5 titanium and is 17.2 kg lighter than the factory exhaust. It sharpens throttle response and gives the Artura a different sound. It is a system without valves. The base version is the rear section only. With the free flow front pipes the sound becomes more aggressive, with a Formula 1 edge, and the turbos spool up faster.

Free flow downpipes

On the Artura the factory catalytic converters sit right behind the turbos. The free flow downpipes delete those catalytic converters. Back pressure drops, the turbos build boost faster and the tone gets sharper. The sensors stay in their original positions. These downpipes are intended for track use and do not meet emission requirements for public roads.

Installation

Both products bolt straight onto the factory mounting points, without permanent modifications to the car. The original system can always go back on later.
