Porsche 911 GT3 / GT3 RS 991 valved exhaust systems

For the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS (991.1 and 991.2) we supply the valved sport exhaust in T304 stainless steel or Grade 5 titanium, on its own or with free flow race headers, and the free flow headers as a separate product. Everything ships directly from the Valvetronic Designs factory in Boyertown, Pennsylvania.

Valved sport exhaust

This system is the result of eighteen months of development. It is full 2.5-inch from front to back, with a large-diameter pressed X-pipe and extra tube lengths that raise the pitch. The sound is modelled on the Porsche RSR race car. With the valves open you get flames on upshifts and a crescendo that keeps building to the rev limiter. With the valves closed the volume is tamed for long motorway drives and early starts, without drone in the cabin. The vacuum-operated valves behave like the originals. You choose between T304 stainless steel and Grade 5 titanium.

Free flow headers

The free flow headers replace the original manifolds and give the exhaust gases a freer path from the cylinder head. Combined with the sport exhaust, the sound moves further into RSR territory. The version with free flow race headers is aimed at the highest performance and the best sound quality.

Frequently asked questions

Does this also fit the GT3 RS?
The valved sport exhaust fits the 991 GT3 and the 991 GT3 RS, chassis codes 991.1 and 991.2. The separate free flow headers list only the 911 GT3 (991.1 and 991.2). If you have an RS, e-mail us your chassis number and we will check it.
How do the valves work?
The system has vacuum-operated valves that behave like the originals.
Stainless steel or titanium?
The system is available in T304 stainless steel or Grade 5 titanium, both as catback only and in combination with the free flow race headers.
