For the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S (992) with the 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat six we supply the titanium valved sport exhaust, as a cat-back or with free flow front pipes, and 400-cell catted downpipes. Everything ships directly from the Valvetronic Designs factory in Boyertown, Pennsylvania.

Valved sport exhaust

The system is made of Grade 5 titanium (Ti 6Al-4V) and integrates with the factory valves, so you open and close them with the original controls. With the valves open the exhaust gases flow through a large X-pipe, with a raw motorsport tone and solid pops on downshifts. With the valves closed the sound runs through a four-chamber silencer: the volume drops considerably while the tone remains. There are three versions: cat-back only, cat-back with race free flow front pipes, and cat-back with free flow front pipes and 400-cell catalytic converters.

Catted downpipes

The factory catalytic converters restrict flow. The catted downpipes with 400-cell high flow catalytic converters lower back pressure, let the turbos spool faster and sharpen the sound while keeping the catalytic converters. With the factory exhaust you get a little more depth and volume and a clearer turbo sound, with a Valvetronic exhaust a sharper response and a stronger turbo sound. The sensors return to their original positions, so the engine management keeps working as normal. They come with a break-in procedure for the catalytic converter, which is also your warranty document.
