Ferrari F430 Valved Sport Exhaust System

The factory exhaust on the F430 routes the gas from the manifolds straight to the exhaust tips, with no crossover. That is why the V8 misses the high, Formula 1 style overtones it actually has. This system brings them back.

Sound and control

With the valves closed the gas runs through the muffler above and the volume stays controlled, easy in the neighborhood, on a cold start or while driving quietly. Open them and everything flows unrestricted through the X-pipe to the center tips, with the highest and sharpest tone this platform has produced so far. The factory valve control keeps working as it did.

• Downpipes with an Inconel jacket, which limit the heat in the engine bay

• 15.7 kg lighter than the factory exhaust

Fitment and homologation

This system fits the Ferrari F430, built from 2004 through 2009. No permanent changes to the car are needed, so the factory system can always go back on.
